Here's a very nice copy of this early Beatles single, which was the group's first Top 10 single in the U.K. (Their first single, "Love Me Do," peaked at #17.) Interestingly, the B side of the U.S. release, "From Me To You," was the group's followup to "Please Please Me" in the U.K. and became the Beatles' first #1 hit there in April 1963. This Vee-Jay variant has the rainbow circle around the label, with the "bracket" Vee-Jay logo. Note: This copy comes in a vintage Vee Jay Records factory sleeve (has writing and wear). The A label is marred by some blue highlighter inking on the logo (see scan); the B label is Near Mint. The vinyl looks Near Mint with some light scuffs, and the audio is amazingly strong and clean.
