Something In The Air/ The Waiting

From a warehouse find, this is a new, unplayed stock copy, in its original picture sleeve. This U.K. pressing has a small spindle hole. The A side, a cover of the Thunderclap Newman classic, wasn't released on 7-inch vinyl in the U.S., only on a CD single. It was a non-album cut that was available only on a greatest hits compilation, which explains why the B side reprises "The Waiting," certainly one of Petty's greatest hits, which is why this 45 earns 2 stars from us (our highest recommendation). Note: This copy has light storage wear that lowers the Label grade to Near Mint. The wax and audio are pristine, and the picture sleeve is nearly flawless.
