From a warehouse find, this is a new, unplayed stock copy. One of the most beautiful and moving odes to a lost child ever recorded. Makes me choke up every time I hear it, thinking of my own kids. Dave Marsh included this single in his 1999 addendum to the original list of 1001 greatest singles, published in 1989. It's also #362 on the Rolling Stones magazine list of the 500 greatest songs. Note: This beautiful 45 has no notable flaws, grading Mint across the board (Labels, Vinyl, Audio).
