What You Got

Stereo/Mono promo copy. Here's the rarest of all John Lennon promo 45s: A plug for "What You Got," which started out as the B side of the singer's hit single "#9 Dream." Apparently — and to no avail, I might add — Apple decided to try the B side of that single out on its own and released a small number of this promo release for that purpose. "What You Got" is definitely worth the effort — it's a hard-charging rocker from the artist's "Walls and Bridges" LP. Note: This beautiful promo copy has Mint labels (see scan). The vinyl is lightly scuffed, grading a strong EX, but the audio is Near Mint with only very light surface noise occasionally audible.
