Your Song/ Take Me to the Pilot

Here's a beautiful copy of Elton John's first big hit. Curiously, some sources claim that "Take Me To The Pilot" was the intended A side, but there is no evidence of this that I know of. From the first week of release, "Your Song" is the side that received airplay, both here and in the U.K, and I know of no data that show "Pilot" received any airplay from this single. Note: This 45 record has Near Mint labels with a tiny "s" inked on the A label. The vinyl looks almost untouched, but the audio has a touch of wear, grading very close to Near Mint, but just missing.
