Nights In White Satin/ Cities

This 45 originally 'bubbled under' the Hot 100 at #103 in February 1968. The first pressing of the 1968 release credits the A side writer as "Redwave," and another pressing shows "Redwave-Hayward." Later copies show "Justin Hayward." Collectors Nerd Alert: It's difficult to distinguish the 1968 and 1972 pressings, because they look a lot alike and have the same catalog number. One distinguishing characteristic that I believe is useful is that the 1968 pressings (regardless of who is credited as the A side writer) show "A Product of London Records" in perimeter print along with the credit to Decca. Since this copy is missing that credit, I believe it's a 1972 pressing. Note: This beautiful copy comes in a vintage Deram/London Records factory sleeve. It has Near Mint labels, untouched-looking vinyl and very nearly Mint audio.
