Ain't Got No Home/ Troubles, Troubles

This 1956 classic was Clarence "Frog Man" Henry's first and, some think, best single, which Dave Marsh includes at #665 in his list of the 1,001 greatest singles of Rock'n'Soul. This is, after all, the song that gives meaning to his nickname, as he demonstrates that he really "Can sing like a girl, and ... like a frog!" Note: The labels grade a strong EX, reflecting light wear on this easily damaged silver-print label. The vinyl looks pretty scuffed up, grading a strong VG. Fortunately, the sound is better than that, grading EX with some notable surface noise but overall very enjoyable. (This scan is a representative image from our archives.)
