Last Kiss / C.C. Rider

Originally released on Gala 117. This is the seldom-heard original version of "Last Kiss," which became a huge hit for J. Frank Wilson in 1964. Cochran authored the song way back in 1961, and it was released on several different labels prior to 1964... but none of them got heard. In fact, sadly, Wayne Cochran produced a vast amount of great music in the 1960's and never cracked the Bilozoard charts with any of his singles. The flip side of this 1970's reissue shows another, completely different side to the singer that's typical of his late 1960's work.
