Lonely Weekends/ Everything I Do Is Wrong

Though he was a major player—contributing songs and session keyboards—behind the scenes at Sam Phillips' Sun Studios in the late 1950s, Charlie Rich had only one hit single under his own name while at Sun. "Lonely Weekends" may have been alone by that measure, all of Rich's singles on Phillips Int'l (a Sun Records label) are well worth seeking out. Note: This beautiful copy has Mint labels and Near Mint vinyl and audio. The Near Mint audio grade reflects one or two light "pops" I heard near the beginning.
