Bo Diddley

This is a Stereo/Mono promo copy with the "Short Version" (3:34) on both sides. Ronnie Hawkins originally recorded a version of "Bo Diddley" back in 1963, a record that now goes for over $100 (if you could find one). He re-recorded the track in 1973 for Monument, and although I've not heard the original, I can tell you this is one terrific recording! From the hot guitar to the hot horns and the hot female backup, the platter just never cools down. Note: This copy comes in a vintage Monument Records factory sleeve.
