This is a beautiful, Near Mint copy of the single that began CCR's string of immensely popular and enduring neo-rockabilly singles during 1969-71. Not coincidentally, it was also the group's first single on which John Fogerty came out front as the band's bread-winning songwriter as well as its lead vocalist. Dave Marsh was right to put this one so high up on his list of the 1001 greatest singles ever made... I probably would have put it even higher! Great B side, too, which is specially edited from a 5:10 album track. Note: This beautiful copy has Near Mint labels with a bit of outer-ringwear. The vinyl looks Near Mint as well, as does the audio, which has a touch of surface noise near the beginning but no noticeable noise thereafter. (This scan is a representative image from our archives.)
