I Cried A Tear/ Dix-A-Billy

One of Lavern Baker's greatest! The flip, 'Dix-A-Billy,' is an uptempo hoot! A rare nugget indeed. Note: This beautiful, Near-Mint-looking copy comes in a vintage Atlantic Records factory sleeve. Its labels grade very close to Mint, and the vinyl looks Near Mint with only very light signs of prior use. The audio, as with nearly all copies of this 45 I've ever found, grades EX with very light, persistent surface noise. (I have encountered this problem so many times over the years I'm beginning to suspect Atlantic used sub-par vinyl for this 45.) (This scan is a representative image from our archives.)
