This is a new, unplayed promo copy from the
Louise Neal 45 Collection, in its original and rare Fury Records factory sleeve. Yes, this is the original 1962 version of a song that became one of Harrison's signature hits in 1969 as "Let's Work Together," also covered by Canned Heat, among others. Here, a harmonica lead is (IMHO) a bad idea, but it's exciting to hear the tune in its original form, and Harrison is spot-on as a vocalist and songwriter. Note: This beautiful promo copy's labels grade Near Mint, to reflect a hint of storage wear on the A side (see scan). The vinyl exhibits faint storage wear as well, and it also has a tiny spot where it looks like a crack is forming, but at this point I don't hear any effect from the micro-fracture; overall, I'm grading the vinyl a strong EX. The audio grades Near Mint, reflecting very light native surface noise audible mainly in the dead-wax.
