Mean Woman/ Holy One

This is a new, unplayed promo copy from the Louise Neal 45 Collection, in its original Imperial Records factory sleeve. This is one of the tunes Fender recorded for the small Texas label Duncan in 1959, which Imperial picked up and re-released in 1960.The A side is a dynamite, full-throttle RnB Rocker. On these singles, the singer's first name is spelled "Freddie," whereas on later releases he more commonly used "Freddy." Note: This copy has Near Mint labels, with some fading of the white color near the label edges. The vinyl grades a strong EX, as it has a few tiny scratches and scuffs. The imperfections in the vinyl don't keep the A side audio from grading Near Mint, but on the softer B side the audio is EX. (The overall audio grade (EX+) is an average of the two.)
