This is a stock copy from the

collection. This memorable New Orleans-style rocker had a couple of covers in 1960 (from Fats Domino and Ray Smith), but sadly neither got much traction on the National charts. Maybe if Clarence Henry had done it around the time he was hitting with "But I Do," it might have done better. In any case, it's a thrill discovering this 1957 original. Note: Note: This 45 is among those in the Neal collection that she may have actually played, but not much I would guess. This beautiful copy has Near Mint labels, with just a touch of storage wear (see scan). The vinyl looks close to Near Mint, with just a couple of spots where it may have been scuffed one or twice. The A side audio is solidly Near Mint, with virtually no surface noise at all; the B side, unfortunately, has a couple of invisible scratches that reduce the audio grade to EX during the first half.
