It turns out that this monster hit song was originally recorded by the Kingston Trio in 1963 on Capitol 5166. Terry Jacks was one half of the Poppy Family. The B side is a non-album cut. Note: This beautiful copy comes in a vintage Bell Records factory sleeve.
