Black Widow/ Tarantula

Here are two terrific early surf instrumentals from the obscure group Tarantulas, which apparently were previously known as the Spyders. (FYI, there's a very useful band history on this blog.) Sadly, this copy isn't in great condition. The vinyl looks, and the audio sounds, about like the label does (see scan). Still, it's a cool artifact of this very popular genre of rock'n'roll.
