Funkytown/ All Night Dancing

Your eyes do not deceive: Dave Marsh pegs this ground-breaking Techno/Synth Pop track, a worthy successor to Disco, at #202 in his list of the 1,001 greatest singles of all time! It wouldn't rate quite so highly on my personal list (if I had one!), but its distinctive sound definitely puts it in 2-star territory (our highest recommendation). Note: This beautiful copy comes in a vintage Casablanca Records factory sleeve. Its vinyl (styrene) looks untouched, and the labels nearly so. The audio is very close to Mint, with barely notable flaws that might not even register on less sensitive ears. :-) Grading Nerd Alert: As I've noted elsewhere, I'm harsher in grading audio than in grading appearance, reserving Mint for truly flawless audio. This copy has very nearly flawless — but not quite flawless — audio, so it grades Near Mint.
