From a warehouse find, this is a new, unplayed stock copy... pristine mint! This copy comes with a set of original jukebox title strips as well. Dodds was a terrific singer in a Clyde McPhatter / Jackie Wilson mold. Note that the B side is cowritten by Barry Gordy... one of his earliest songwriting credits. In fact, he had his first songwriting hit with Jackie Wilson this same year, (cowritten with collaborator T. Carlo as well).
