Oh, Please Love Me/ The Girl I Love

This is a fabulous doo-wop obscurity from the small Texas label Wildcat. The Lyrics had a handful of 45s, but this is the first once I've run across. The guys definitely knew how to sew a harmony, both in the ballad mode (the A side), and in an uptempo dancer (the flip). This promo copy has a small date written on the A side and several initials/names penned on the flip. (The overall effect is fairly innocuous.) The white background of the label is also slightly yellowed (see scan). The B side audio is a strong EX.
