Originally released in 1956 on Vee-Jay 204, this is a second pressing from 1959. The 1956 release was the group's first chart single... a top 10 smash on the RnB charts. The group did an amazing, wonderful update to the song in 1969 that was an even bigger hit. Note: This copy has almost-Mint labels with some faint writing on the A label (see scan). The vinyl is Near Mint and sounds the same on the A side. The B side needs a deep cleaning but would likely grade to Near Mint after that.
