You Can't Sit Down/ Stompin Everywhere

Here's a beautiful copy of this late Doo Wop classic, together with its stunning picture sleeve. The Dovells had two smash, neo-doo-wop hits in the early 1960s — this one, and "Bristol Stomp" from 1961. Both tunes are on the want list of every rock'n'roll fan who digs songs from the 1961-63 resurgence of doo-wop, and even some Northern Soul fans seek this one out for its sheer danceability. Sadly, despite their popularity, it's not easy to find copies in this condition. Note: The 45 record itself has Near Mint labels with a small "59" inked on the A side. The vinyl looks brand new, and the audio sounds pristine Mint. The picture sleeve grades Near Mint overall but has a small numbered sticker in the upper right corner (see scan).
