What guy in his right mind would use a pickup line like "Don't you think that love can last?" Still, I guess he was successful, cause he seems pretty happy by the time the chorus rolls around. :-) And even if the punchline is wrong, Paul Rodgers & company certainly captured the whole experience to a tee. Essential Rock music. And this 45 has the definitive edit, cutting out the fat from the 5:32 album cut to produce a superior Rock Music Experience, IMHO. The hit as you originally heard and loved it on the radio... You won't find it on an album, I'll wager. Note: This copy comes in a vintage A&M Records factory sleeve. It has beautiful, Near Mint labels, and the vinyl (styrene) looks hardly touched. But the styrene grooves have some degradation in one channel that lowers the audio grade a strong EX.
