This was the single that finally jump-started Ocean's career... a terrific rip-off of Michael Jackson's "Billy Jean." And I mean that in the most complimentary sense of "rip-off", as in "imitation is the sincerest form of flattery." And while "Caribbean Queen" doesn't reach the heights of perfection as a Pop song of whatever genre that "Billie Jean" does, it's still deserving of my highest recommendation -- that is, 2 stars. The B side is an instrumental version. The A side is an edited version of the 5:04 album cut. Note: This beautiful copy comes in a vintage Arista Records factory sleeve. It has pristine Mint labels and audio.
