Fame/ Right

Bowie's first single from his great soul record, Young Americans, features his biggest U.S. hit and one of two that achieved the rare privilege of scoring on the Black/RnB chart too. The flip is another strong soul/funk track. The A side is a specially edited version of a 4:16 album track. It features backing vocals by John Lennon, who was also a cowriter on the song. Note: This beautiful copy has a tan label and comes in a vintage RCA Records factory sleeve. It has Near Mint labels. The vinyl and audio story is mixed: The A side vinyl and audio grades Near Mint, but the B side vinyl has a tiny scratch at the beginning and some cloudiness. The B side audio is affected by the scratch but turns Near Mint after a while. The grades shown are for the A side only.
