Let's Get Serious / You're Supposed To Keep Your Love For Me

Originally released on Motown 1469. In case you've forgotten, what with all the attention focused on Michael lately, Jermaine Jackson has released a number of seriously funky singles of his own over the years. This was the first of these, and remains his biggest hit to date. When it came out in 1980, Stevie Wonder was still a dominant force in pop/soul music, so the fact that he wrote and produced the single is a very big deal. Wonder even puts in a cameo vocal on the track. Note: The flip side of this reissue has Jackson's followup single, the second of his two hits that were written and produced by Stevie Wonder.
