Now here's a very rare item... A copy of this classic single with
Near Mint audio! Because nearly all Columbia singles from this era were pressed on styrene rather than vinyl, it was typical for worn or cheap needles to chew up the audio rather quickly. Often, a copy will look mint, but the audio is marred by the high-end frequency loss that is typical of worn styrene. However, although vinyl is more durable, truly mint styrene has virtually no surface noise whatsoever and almost always sounds better than mint vinyl. Note: This beautiful copy comes in a Near Mint picture sleeve, which has some notable top-edge wear on one side. The labels and vinyl (styrene) grade very close to Mint in appearance. The audio has a bare minimum of light surface noise on this very quiet recording.
