Originally released in 1947 on Columbia 37942 (78rpm), before the 45 had been introduced. This 1951 pressing was the first 45 rpm release of one of Gene Autry's signature Christmas tunes. It's on the yellow Columbia label with red print, and has Christmas graphics on the label. This copy comes in its very cool original picture sleeve, which, like others in this series, was manufactured with a hole in the middle of the sleeve (see scan). (The record and sleeve also have the phrase "MJV 4-84" on them; there seems to be some confusion about which is the catalog number and what the other number might be.) Note: This has Mint labels, and the vinyl looks almost untouched. The picture sleeve is bright and shiny with no wrinkling or tears; it has a "49" inked on the front (see scan).
