I'm Spinning/ When I Come Home

From a warehouse find, this is a new, unplayed stock copy, in its original factory sleeve. This copy comes with a set of original jukebox title strips for Dot 15636. Yes, this is a Dell-Vikings single (you can hear them singing), but for some reason Dot actually left their name off the A side of this single, choosing instead to feature lead singer Kripp Johnson. He's touted as being "Lead Singer of 'Whispering Bells'" on the label! The B side at least credits "Dell-Vikings and Kripp Johnson", though that still makes them sound like two separate artists. Gee, I wonder if the other Dell Vikings were a little ticked off about this? :-) Whatever, the important thing is that both Kripp and his buddies sing their hearts out, and they've got some great material, too! And despite Dot's best efforts, the DJ's just didn't want to play the record, so it flopped on the charts. (This scan is a representative image from our archives.)
