"Superstition" is the tune that launched Wonder's "post-Motown" career, in which he took total creative control over his music. It may not surprise you to learn that "Supersitition" is also the biggest hit of his entire -- very long -- career! After this single was a hit, Wonder was rarely out of the Top 10 for the rest of the decade and well into the next. This 45 release, by the way, has a specially edited version of the 4:26 album cut, so
this is the version that was a hit on the radio, not the album cut! Note: This beautiful copy, which has black label type instead of brown, has no notable flaws, grading Mint across the board (Labels, Vinyl, Audio).
