A Piece of My Heart/ Everybody's Got To Cry Sometime

This is an original promo copy from the Louise Neal collection. I like both sides of this rare Fame Records single — two fine Rick Hall-produced tracks. But the A side (marked as "Plug" on this promo) is something really special, and it's why I rate the record 2 stars (our highest recommendation). Note: This 45 is among those in the Neal collection that she may have actually played, and which apparently spent some of their life outside a protective sleeve. As is typical for the 45s in this category, the record has Near Mint labels with just a hint of ringwear (see scan). The vinyl has some scuffing and grades EX. The audio falls short of Near Mint, as occasionally audible light surface noise lowers the audio grade to a strong EX (particularly for the A side).
