Billy's Blues, Part 1/ Part 2

Listening to Part 1, you might think Chess was presenting Billy as purely an instrumentalist, since you hear no peep from his pipes. But then Part 2 finds that he had a distinctive vocal style even at this early stage of his career. Fabulous! By the way, this session features Bo Diddley on guitar! Note: This beautiful copy has Near Mint labels (the only notable flaw is a small abrasion on the B side... see scan). The vinyl looks almost untouched, and the audio is a strong Near Mint.
