This single's A side is a very nice number in Davis' usual Country vein, but it turns out that the album that contains these tunes was recorded at Fame studios under Rick Hall's direction. Even so, the B side is a totally unexpected revelation: A terrific Northern Soul-style dancer that you won't want to miss! Have a listen to the mp3 "snippet" to hear what I mean. (It's the reason we put this single in the Northern Soul genre rather than Country.) What may be surprising is that the tune is not available on iTunes along with most of Davis' catalog! Note: This beautiful 45 has no notable flaws, grading Mint across the board (Labels, Vinyl, Audio).
