More Today Than Yesterday/ Broken-Hearted Man

Northern Soul? Yes, apparently a pioneer British DJ "had the nerve to play it", as Kev Roberts puts it, in a Northern Soul club, and it proceeded to be a smash Northern Soul hit. As did some of the group's followup records. And here, I've thought of it as a bubblegum hit all this time. :-) (As I've noted before, there is a definite connection between bubblegum and soul... this is one of the tracks that demonstrates it. "Build Me Up Buttercup" by the Foundations is another.) Note: This copy comes in a vintage Columbia Records factory sleeve. It has no notable flaws, grading Mint across the board (Labels, Vinyl, Audio).
