One More Heartache/ When I Had Your Love

This is an original pressing with the "globes" Tamla logo design. It's not one of Gaye's better known singles, but Dave Marsh was right-on to put it way up in his list of the 1,001 greatest singles ever made. In fact, his writeup on this one is so good I've just gotta quote from it a few lines:
"One More Heartache" echoes now as Gaye's greatest unrecognized performance, with a chiming guitar line, organ drone, frantic vocal chorus, glowering sax, lethal bass and drum groove, and lyrics and atmosphere that serve as a prophecy of... "I Heard It Through The Grapevine"...

The B side is a non-album cut. Note: This beautiful copy has a drillhole and comes in a vintage Tamla Records factory sleeve. Aside from the drillhole, the labels look like new. The vinyl and audio grade close to Mint.
