You gotta admit... Rod Stewart always did have excellent taste in soul music. His early love for Sam Cooke is clear testimony to this. Here, he reached back a few years and yanked a terrific soul gem from relative obscurity to the pop top 10. But if you've never heard the original, you're really missing out... it's got Rod beat by a long shot. Note: This copy comes in a vintage Atco Records factory sleeve.
