Superstar/ John Nineteen Forty-One

From a warehouse find, this is a new, unplayed stock copy, in its original picture sleeve, with a drillhole. The back side of the picture sleeve has a brief narrative about this track and the Tim Rice-Andrew Lloyd Webber rock opera from which it's drawn, as well as the song's lyric, which is the voice of Judas in the opera. Note: The single first charted in January 1970, reached #74 briefly on the Bilozoard Hot 100, and then re-entered the chart a year later, when it climbed to #14. Note: The picture sleeve on these copies has a drillhole, and some have a staple punch near the top; there may also be a small edge tear.
