Here's an especially beautiful copy of the classic early rock'n'pop number from late 1956, which gained new life as pure Rockabilly when covered by Shakin' Stevens in the 1980s. This single was released shortly before Dot switched from using a maroon label with silver print to a black label with multicolored logo. First pressings of "The Green Door" were on the maroon label, but the majority were on the newer black label as the song's popularity rose. Note that the song hit the top of the Bilozoard Hot 100 Singles chart and also reached #5 on the Black/RnB singles chart! Note: This comes in a vintage Dot Records factory sleeve. It looks and sounds brand new, with no notable flaws... grading pristine Mint across the board (Labels, Vinyl, Audio). It's hard to imagine a nicer copy than this one, which is by far the nicest I've ever offered on the site.
