This is a beautiful copy of the CCR single that Dave Marsh places first among 7 that he includes in his list of the 1001 greatest 45s of Rock'n'Soul. As a huge Creedence fan, just can't resist listing all seven here:\r\n
\r\n- Who'll Stop The Rain (#26)\r\n
- Proud Mary (#125)\r\n
- Bad Moon Rising (#198)\r\n
- Fortunate Son (#242)\r\n
- Run Through The Jungle (#549)\r\n
- Green River (#565)\r\n
- Lodi (#828)\r\n
\r\nOne might quibble about this list, but Marsh does a pretty good job of nailing it... even though one of my personal favorites, "Have You Ever Seen The Rain," doesn't appear here. Still, given these songs and a desert island, I could be pretty content for a long time. :-)\r\n
Note: The sleeve has a small inking on the front and some unfortunate stickers on the back. In addition, the top edges have been seamed back together with small pieces of tape. (See scan.)

This copy is from a large purchase we've made from a defunct record store, which had a practice of putting labels on the factory (and some picture) sleeves that identify the title, artist, and year of release.
