What a surprise! Her debut single on Columbia is a tour de force, with a to-die-for deep soul performance on one side and an amazing uptempo soul rocker on the flip. This girl had come a long way from 'The Name Game.' Unfortunately, I guess it was too far for radio programmers of the day, who basically ignored it.
