So Young / Be My Baby

Originally released on Phil Spector 1. This is a mint copy of the limited-edition reissue, pressed on clear gold vinyl, released by Collectables in the early 1980s. Part of what makes this reissue so special is this side, which is a very rare Phil Spector production of Ronnie Spector (credited as "Veronica" on the original), backed by the Ronettes, singing a gorgeous cover of the Students' 1956 classic, "I'm So Young." Apparently, this and the other "Veronica" singles on the Phil Spector label were pulled from production almost immediately after release.

On the A side, you get "Be My Baby," which was this iconic girl group's first and biggest hit single, and today is the hardest to find--whether on reissue or on the original Philles label in decent condition.
