Amazing Grace/ Cornet Carillon

From a warehouse find, this is a new, unplayed stock copy, in its original RCA factory sleeve. OK, here's an interesting footnote from the history of pop music in 1972: This track dominated the top of the U.K. singles chart in 1972 so much that it turned out to be that year's biggest pop hit! How unlikely is that? The single made much less of an impression on U.S. listeners, though it almost cracked the Top 10. The flip side of this reissue is another of the "group's" U.K. hits, which, though modest compared with "Amazing Grace," managed to climb near to the Top 10 in England. Note: This beautiful copy has Near Mint labels. The vinyl and audio are pristine.
