Finally! Here's a beautiful copy of the original release of this amazing love song, in its first incarnation by the song's writer, the great Dolly Parton. This first release was her followup to "Jolene" and came from the same album. This is the first time I've had the original in the store, and I believe this is the best version of "I Will Always Love You" you can find! Parton topped the charts again in 1982 with a new version of the song, and of course Whitney Houston showed the good taste to record the song in 1992, thereby finally bringing its charms to the pop and soul masses. Inspired by this revival, Dolly teamed up with Vince Gill to record the tune again in 1995! Note: This copy comes in a vintage RCA Records factory sleeve. It grades Near Mint across the board, including the very soft audio, which does have a touch of surface noise in the first few seconds.
