This two-sided wonder is hoarded by fathers, boyfriends, and husbands everywhere with a "Melissa" in their lives. Once given to a "Melissa," the gift rarely again sees the light of day... which explains why it's so hard to find by folks who just love the music! Because it also happens to be one of this Southern U.S. band's very best singles. "Blue Sky" is an edited version of the 5:09 LP cut, and though it was intended to be the hit side, it was Melissa that got most of the airplay. Which unfortunately was very little considering how great these songs are. Note: This beautiful copy has Mint labels and Near Mint-looking vinyl (styrene). The A side audio grades close to Mint with just a touch of surface noise and no distortion, while the B side grades a strong EX, reflecting a touch of degradation in one channel.
