Credited to Wings. The single's A side matrix number (94418) indicates that "Mull of Kintyre" was the plug side, but in the U.S. it was the tasty rocker "Girls' School" on the flip (with matrix number 94419) that got all the airplay. Although the folky "Mull" failed to generate airplay here, it's worth remembering that the song spent
9 weeks at the top of the British chart! Not only that, it became the biggest U.K. seller of the 1970s! Neither track appeared on a contemporary McCartney/Wings LP... this was a non-album single. Note: The record has no notable flaws, grading Mint across the board. The rare picture sleeve has a touch of ringwear, a byproduct of storage with the record's "ribbed" label edge; some age staining in the white areas, as well as the original price sticker in the upper left corner of one side.
