Real Wild Child (Wild One)/ Little Miss Emperor

Late in his memorable career as an outrageous punk pioneer, Iggy had a career revival in the late 1980's that finally gave him a top-40 hit. This single features a terrific cover of the famous 1950s Rockabilly number originally recorded by Jerry "Ivan" Allison, who was the drummer for Buddy Holly & the Crickets. Iggy certainly makes the track his own, and what's left could not be called Rockabilly, but is still exciting! Note that the track was produced by Pop's longtime friend David Bowie, who also co-wrote the flip. The excellent B side is a non-album track missing from the LP, though it does show up as a "bonus track" on the CD release. Note: This beautiful 45 record has no notable flaws, grading Mint across the board (Labels, Vinyl, Audio), and the picture sleeve is nearly flawless!
