Trivia note: From the time Elton John first hit the top 40 with 'Your Song' in 1970, this is the only single he released that failed to reach the top 40 until 'Heartache All Over the World' in 1986. Despite its lack of chart success, the song endures as one of his best and most-loved. I'm sure one reason it failed to do better on the radio in 1972 is that it was (!) over 6 minutes long. The promo release did have a severely edited version, but it didn't have the same impact. Both tracks are from the album "Madman Across The Water," the first single from which was "Levon." Note: This copy's labels grade a strong EX, with a small stain and a little ringwear on the A label. The vinyl has some notable scuffing and tiny scratches, grading EX in appearance. The audio has notable surface noise, especially early on, grading a strong VG.
