Twisting The Night Away/ True Blue - Lady Day

The flip side of this single actually has two songs, making this that rare 45 record that has more than 2 songs but isn't technically an EP (extended play record). (Elton John's "Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting" is another.) The 3:22 'Lady Day' did not appear on the 'Never A Dull Moment' album... it's a non-album tune. And the great rocker 'True Blue', which is the reason this record gets a 2-star rating from us, is specially edited from a longer (3:28) album track. The song opens the album, by the way. Note: This beautiful copy comes in a vintage Philips/Mercury Records factory sleeve. It has no notable flaws, grading Mint across the board (Labels, Vinyl, Audio).
