Squeezed between his gigs in the Humblebums and Stealers Wheel, Rafferty managed to put out a couple of singles on different labels... this being one of them. Typically tuneful and literate, it's clear that he had some financial/contractual worries on his mind at that time... :-) Note that the B side was cowritten with Joe Egan, who would become his partner in Stealers Wheel. Note: This copy has Near Mint labels. The vinyl looks Near Mint with a few light scuffs, but it also has a mild, no-impact storage warp. The A side audio is Near Mint, but the B side has notable surface noise, so don't buy it for the B side. (The overall grade is for the A side only.)
