This is a new, unplayed promo copy from the
Louise Neal 45 Collection, in its original Atlantic-Atco factory sleeve. Harvey Scales & band were quite prolific in the 1960s, but this great single was the group's only chart entry. Both sides are keepers. By the way, the group had no albums on Magic Touch, so you gotta get their singles! Note: This beautiful promo 45 has a pristine Mint A label and nearly pristine B label. The vinyl looks untouched, but grades a strong EX to reflect a noticeable outer-edge "bowl" warp from storage; my stylus had no trouble tracking the warp, which is worst at the outer edge but presented no trouble for my DJ-style turntable for quick starts from the beginning. Nevertheless, if your tonearm is too lightly weighted, the warp could could present a problem, which is one reason we're lowering the otherwise-pristine-appearing vinyl to an EX grade. On my test system, the audio blasts forth pristine Mint with no distortion, wavers, or other distractions from the pure sound.
